The Ultimate Outdoor Bouldering Weekend
This isn’t just a climbing trip — it’s a full weekend away with your climbing community.
You’ll be staying in an exclusive area of a lakeside campsite, with:
- Ample space for tents and campervans
- Trees perfect for slacklining
- Our own hot-water shower and toilet block
- Big communal campfires every night (firewood supplied)
The campsite is right next to Passchendaele State Forest, and the best bouldering areas are only a short drive a few minutes away.
Each day, we head out together with instructors who know the area and can take you straight to the best boulders, so you spend your time climbing — not wandering around trying to find problems in a massive boulder field.
The Climbing
Passchendaele is stacked with quality boulders across every style and grade.
You can expect:
- Grades from below V0 all the way to V13+
- Slabs, overhangs, crimps, slopers and cracks
- Easy walk-ups and long-term projects
- Problems suitable for total beginners through to very strong climbers
Because the boulder field is huge, many visitors spend hours just trying to locate problems.
With our instructors, you’ll be taken straight to the good stuff, with beta, spotting and session planning if you want it.
Whether you’re there to push grades or just enjoy moving on rock outdoors for the first time — you’ll be covered.

Campsite & Facilities
You’ll be staying at a private group area within the campsite, located right next to the lake.
Facilities include:
- 🚿 Hot showers
- 🚻 Private toilet block for our group
- ⛺ Large grassy areas for tents
- 🚐 Space for campervans
- 🔥 Communal campfire area
- 🌳 Trees for slacklines and hammocks
It’s comfortable, social, and perfectly set up for relaxed evenings after big climbing days.
