We are running our popular Lead Climbing Workshop for those who don’t have a regular climbing partner. This is a great way to learn the skills you’ll need to climb outdoors safely and a fun way to meet likeminded people and climbing buddies!

Intro to Outdoor Climbing & Abseiling Experience
If you haven’t been climbing outdoors yet, this is the perfect introduction. Your guide will introduce you to a variety of cliffs at Mt Ngungun in the Glasshouse mountains for a day of climbing and abseiling you won’t forget.
We will be top roping on a range of beginner and intermediate climbs, instructing how to belay and covering all other safety procedures. After an amazing lunch on the mountain, at our guides favourite picnic spot, you will have the opportunity to abseil down a 20m cliff, sure to get your heart racing!
To finish off the day, we’ll enjoy the best lookout in the Glasshouse Mountains with 360 degree views.
We provide all the safety equipment and a full lunch so you can focus on climbing, knowing you’ll have a safe and unforgettable experience.

Outdoor Bouldering Crash Course (Next Date TBA).
Our Outdoor Bouldering Crash Course is designed to help you transition from indoor to outdoor bouldering. We cover every aspect from reading a guide book to reading the rock, placing pads to topping out and everything in between.
The course is held at North Burleigh Headland where we light up the cliff to create a spectacular climbing experience. By the end of the night you will have the skills and confidence to head out on your own and get your hands on real rock.
To kickstart your outdoor bouldering we’ve included 1 x FREE day Boulder Pad Hire included in the crash course (to be used at a later date).
Over the 2 hr Crash Course we will cover:
Spotting – Falling – Reading a Guidebook – Route Finding – Cleaning a Route – Placing Pads – Top Outs – Skin Care – Crag Ethics – And heaps more!

Who: Designed for indoor climbers wanting to get their hands on some real rock.
Where: North Burleigh Headland.
What’s Included: – 2 hr Climbing Sessions at North Burleigh

Passchendaele Bouldering Trip (Next Trip Dates TBA).
A short drive away in the Granit Belt lies a bouldering wonderland. With classic problems from V0-V12, let Active Adventures Australia handle the logistics and catering so all you have to think about is climbing.
We’ll be staying in an exclusive section of campsite only minutes away from all the boulders. If you’re familiar with our previous trips, we have changed our group campsite to the other side of the lake so we now have much closer access to amenities and wifi available.
